UNDERGROUND NETWORK DETECTION

Measuring the invisible

GEOSAT realizes non-intrusive detection and geo-referencing of buried networks with great precision. The aim of this work is to reduce the damage caused by works on all types of networks: gas and electricity pipes, telecom networks, drinking water, sanitation,...

Our services

  • Network implementation and proofing
  • Additional investigations<
  • Patrimonial detection
  • Safety of works around pipelines and underground networks
  • Mapping of underground infrastructures
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Human resources

GEOSAT has set up a multidisciplinary team covering all areas of competence for the detection of buried networks. Thiq team is made up of geotechnical engineers for the detection, expert geometers to supervise the geo-location, engineers and technicians specialized in network detection and geo-referencing, road engineers and geomaticians for the checking of data conformity.

OUR EQUIPMENT

Agreements and certifications

GEOSAT has several technical and legal approvals and authorizations. Its employees are regularly trained in the new regulatory obligations related to the detection of underground networks:

  • member of land-surveyor federation
  • certification in geo-referencing
  • certification in underground detection
  • member of the French Association for underground detection compagnies (FNEDRE)
OUR CERTIFICATIONS

Anti-damage to networks reform

Already compulsory since 2012 for complementary investigations (IC), the reform will come into force on January 2019 for the patrimonial detection and requires the reference of all sensitive networks (power lines , Tricolor signaling, gas, heat network).

Its goals

Less damage to networks, better public safety and better continuity of public services. Improved knowledge of the subsoil of urban public space leads to better management.
